Yolanda Vento started her career in the bleeding disorders industry as a volunteer 25 years ago. Shortly after she accepted a position as the reimbursement supervisor for a well established bleeding disorders home health company. With a previous background in computer technology, Yolanda developed and implemented a fully operational reimbursement system. With in little time she held the position of manager for accounts receivable and accounts payable. Yolanda learned of the additional challenges that patients confront when dealing with healthcare coverage. With a passion for excellence and sensitivity to the needs of the patients, Yolanda has made it her goal to keep the community she serves informed of the new developments within the insurance world. As a bilingual person, Yolanda understands the problems the Hispanic community faces and is able to help them resolve the ever more difficult insurance issues. Her more than 30 years of marriage to a person with a bleeding disorder adds to her knowledge of the emotional and social issues that arise. Her experience has allowed her to focus on these issues and learn how to navigate the different hurdles that arise.
